International Schools’ Chinese Language Education Conference and Workshops

我们诚挚邀请您参与2019年12月16至18日於澳大利亚墨尔本之威斯理学校举办的第七届国际学校华语教育研讨会暨工作坊—「国际中文教育的多元样貌— 教 与 学 之 创 新」。此次研讨会係由义守大学、国立高雄师範大学与香港大学共同举办;威斯理学校与维州中文教师协会共同协办,墨尔本大学学者协助论文审读。旨在促进华语语言及文学於国际教育情境下的教学觉察与实践。

It is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the 7th International Schools’ Chinese Language Education Conference and Workshops — “Chinese as a global language Innovative Teaching and Learning”, which will be held at Wesley College (Melbourne, Australia) from 1618 December 2019.

The conference is organized by I-Shou University (Taiwan), National Kaohsiung Normal University (Taiwan), and The University of Hong Kong, and jointly hosted in Melbourne Australia by Wesley College and the Chinese Language Teachers Association of Victoria with support from professors at the University of Melbourne.

The purpose of the conference is to raise awareness of and to promote practices of how Chinese language and literature can be taught in the context of international education.

Richmond West Primary School

Richmond West Primary School (RWPS) is located in the inner city area of Melbourne. It has provided bilingual education in Vietnamese and Chinese for more than 40 years. Enrolments have continued to grow and the current student population is 320.

Richmond High School

Richmond High School is a newly established public school in Victoria. Other than the mainstream Chinese as a second language program, it offers an innovative immersion style course in Chinese to students who have had previous bilingual education in primary schools.
